    Good food. Has been here forever. Noisy... nothing to absorb the sound. Not inexpensive. How crowded or cozy it feels depends on the time and day that you dine.

    One of my favorite places to enjoy a delicious, very well prepared omelette with fresh hot coffee. Cafe Luka is totally focused upon their customers. Wholesome food served hot. Comfortable, clean and bright surroundings that add to the pleasure of your meal. Very friendly and professional staff. We highly recommend Cafe Luka!

    Nice clean place and good service. Be aware that tips for the staff must be cash! I am not happy with that policy because many people don't carry cash so the staff suffers. A bit pricey, $20 for a meatless omelette and a cup of coffee, without tip, but that's the neighborhood!

    It is a modern and clean American Dinner. I had a burger which was excellent. Fries were not crispy enough. Service was pretty good and the manager or owner seemed to know his customers and talked to them going from table to table. Dinner was fully packed on a Thursday...11:30 am.

    Stumbled upon this place when leaving a Sotheby's exhibit with a friend from out of town. WELL! What a delight - the service was so very friendly, the right amount of attention, and clean! The price - well - it is upper east NYC - so it is ...as to be expected (not cheap, but not outrageous for the location.). There is a neighborhood diner feel without being exactly that. I would go back again!
